Course aim

You will learn the following social video production skills using your mobile device:

• Understand how to maximise the impact of your social media channels by creating engaging video content that will boost awareness/ interest in key areas of your hotel – and boost bookings!
• An introduction into cinematography, composition and camera angles
• How to plan, film and edit professional looking video for social media on a mobile phone
• Understand how to use additional lenses, tripods, gimbals and microphone hardware designed for mobile
• Learn from example footage produced by our professional team
• Practice scenarios and tasks to put what you have learnt into practice
• Easy to follow training in the use of editing software on your mobile device or tablet
• How to upload your videos to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

Who should attend?

This course is aimed at individuals working within the hospitality sector with little to no prior knowledge/ experience of creating video content for social media channels. It is designed to take you from ‘zero to hero’ in terms of being able to understand the ‘what, why and how’ of video content so that afterwards, you will be able to showcase the USP’s of your hotel through the power of your mobile phone.
